Location of Nanicup Bridge

The Nanicup Bridge Project comprises a virgin discovery, by Dominion, of a very significant gold system.
The key results of the exploration history at this project are:

  1. Definition of a 6 kilometre long N-S trending gold geochemical anomaly (open in both directions).

  2. Definition of a 5 kilometre long and 500 metre wide bedrock(interface) anomaly at + 100 ppb gold (open in both directions) with maximum intercepts including 3m @ 11.0 g/t and 3m @ 4.8 g/t.

  3. Limited drilling into the fresh bedrock (11 RC holes, totalling1,776 metres and 5 diamond core holes, totalling 910 metres, mainly on 5 sections) has defined a very consistent flat dipping zone of gold mineralisation, up to 100 metres thick, at +100 ppb gold, with significant continuity, at + 500 ppb gold + 100 ppb gold, with significant continuity at + 500 ppb gold.

  4. Gold is associated with, generally weak, pyrite and copper, bismuth and molybdenum sulphide mineralisation.

  5. Clearly a very large volume of gold mineralisation has been outlined. The mineralised zone, which has been drilled to a maximum depth of 130 metres, is open on every section drilled to date.

This prospect still represents a high priority exploration opportunity. Only a very small part of the anomaly has been tested by drilling below the interface with fresh bedrock (at average depths of about 40 - 50 metres), and the system has not yet been tested at a depth of more than 130 metres.

Since drilling has been completed, detailed airborne magnetic data has been received and there is an opportunity to carry out geophysical and geological modelling to guide further drill targeting. Even without such modelling, there is a compelling case for further systematic drilling of this gold mineralised system.
